Designed, laser cut and hand finished by us at Bear & Rose in our Yorkshire workshop.

Made using our high quality sustainably sourced 4mm thick Maple or Oak wood veneer with engraved detailing plus 3mm thick glossy black perspex acrylic which is editable with chalk or a liquid chalk pen. 

With spaces to enter little snippets of information about your little one, you can capture the most wonderful photographs of your children's first day of each year and see how much they grow!

How to Order

1. Choose if you'd like to personalise with your child's name engraved at the top or opt for the standard top design of "My first day of....".

2. Select which wood option you would prefer - the lighter maple wood or slightly warmer toned oak wood.

3. If you've chosen the personalised option, please leave a note in the personalisation section with the name you'd like.

4. Select if you would like to include a liquid chalk pen with you order or not.

The glossy black perspex acrylic sections are wipeable (with a damp cloth) when using chalk or a liquid chalk pen making it last through a whole childhood....use it over and over again every year to capture the memories of your children growing up. From Nursery right through to University (or as long as your teenagers will pose for photos!).

We recommend wiping the text away from the chalkboard as soon as possible after use to help prevent any marks being left behind on the board by the chalk. 

Please note - names for personalisation ending in 'S' such as "James" will be written as James' unless you specify that you would like it to read James's.
